World4All's Scientific Technical Committee guides the evolution of the model: methodology, criteria and scientific consistency to make accessibility measurable, verifiable, communicable.
The context
The role of the committee
World4All is not just a platform: it is an infrastructure that integrates audit, training, and technology. The Scientific Technical Committee is the advisory and proactive body that contributes to the development, validation and supervision of World4All activities on:
Accessibility and inclusion (motor, sensory, cognitive)
assistive technologies and digital innovation
protocols, metrics, and evaluation models
best practices and regulatory alignment
Our mission.
The committee supports a clear goal: to bring accessibility to standards, with an approach based on evidence, field experience and interdisciplinary comparison.
Specifically, the Committee:
Directs research toward solutions that are truly useful for people and those with them
Studies and approves inspection procedures and protocols
Supports the development of data-driven metrics, ratings, and decision-making tools
Expands the scope of analysis to include complex needs (e.g., autism spectrum, low vision, cognitive disabilities)
Supports the operations team in the evolution of the App and services to ensure consistency with best practices
A broad, intersectional vision
Not just mobility: an ecosystem that grows with people
Accessibility is not about a single variable. This is why the committee promotes a broad, inclusive and interdisciplinary vision: each data sheet, training path or digital evolution is born from the comparison between:
those who experience disability
who studies it
Those who work every day in the field
Research is the bridge between empathy and concreteness: we validate useful, replicable, and readable solutions even for facilities and territories that want to generate value as well as impact.
Independence, collaboration, transparency
We believe in collaboration between academia, associations and business. The committee operates independently in its evaluations and works in synergy with:
Territorial and institutional partners
World4All Academy trained technicians.
Local communities and associational networks
