Code of Ethics

Foreword

This document was prepared in collaboration with ZERO BARRIERS ODV and the fundamental contribution of Marco Bottardi.

The term “group” means the set of facilities directly related or traceable to World4All Srl such as as of 11.03.2025: Zero Barriers ODV, World4All Academy.

Values

The values of World4All (also W4A) are formalized within the Code of Ethics, whose standards are dictated by a precise social and moral commitment and guide the actions of all those who act on behalf of the company.

However, for Courses with scheduled start dates, the following time conditions apply.

Code of Ethics

World4all's Code of Ethics is the document that defines the way we intend to do business, a model of behavior toward our employees, partners, clients and all those who come in contact with our facility.

Inclusion

For us, inclusion is an inescapable priority and we work daily so that the term “disability” will one day be conceived as a “new opportunity.”.

World4All model

By the term “World4all model” we mean the way we relate to our employees and those who come in contact with the company, it is the essence of our doing business and presenting the company and the brand to the domestic and international market, in a distinct and unique way compared to our competitors.

Diversity = Uniqueness = Success factor

Particular importance is placed on protecting all forms of diversity, which is considered a factor in success.

Basic principles

World4All's Code of Ethics is based on fundamental principles that guide every action and decision within the organization:

  • Integrity and Honesty: World4All is committed to operating with integrity and honesty in all its activities, ensuring transparency and fairness in its dealings with employees, customers, suppliers and stakeholders.
  • Respect and Inclusion: World4All promotes an inclusive and respectful work environment in which every individual is valued for his or her abilities and skills, regardless of gender, age, origin, or disability.
  • Social Responsibility: World4All recognizes its social responsibility and is committed to contributing to the well-being of the community by promoting accessibility and inclusion of people with disabilities.
  • Professionalism and Quality: World4All is committed to providing high-quality services and products, ensuring the professionalism and expertise of its employees and contractors.
  • Compliance with Laws and Regulations: World4All is committed to complying with all applicable laws and regulations, ensuring compliance of its activities.

Control and implementation mechanisms

To ensure the effective implementation of the Code of Ethics, World4All has implemented the following control mechanisms:

  • Compliance Manager: The figure of the Compliance Officer is essential to ensure the correct interpretation and application of the Code of Ethics.
  • Training and Outreach: World4All regularly organizes training and awareness-raising activities for its employees and contractors to promote knowledge and understanding of the Code of Ethics.
  • Reporting Violations: World4All provides secure and confidential reporting channels for employees and contractors to report violations of the Code of Ethics.
  • Disciplinary Actions: World4All reserves the right to take disciplinary action against anyone who violates the Code of Ethics.

Value added

Adoption of the Code of Ethics helps create value for World4All first and foremost in terms of Reputation and Trust. A strong Code of Ethics strengthens corporate reputation and generates trust among customers, suppliers, and stakeholders.

In addition, in a work environment based on ethical principles, it is possible to foster cooperation, motivation and productivity of employees, collaborators and all those who in various ways participate even indirectly through actions in agreement, in the activities.

1. Nature of the code of ethics

The Code of Ethics is addressed to all those who work in World4All or who, in any case, are related to World4All, in order to make clear and unambiguous the ethical principles from which the “World4All Model” stems.

The Code is the official document that sets forth the ethical principles in which World4All is reflected and by which all must be guided.

The purposes of adopting the Code of Ethics are:

  1. Establish a behavioral standard among all employees and contractors, in all other operational areas (commercial, administrative, suppliers, stakeholders).
  2. Identify appropriate internal control measures and tools to monitor compliance with the Code.
  3. Creating value.

Everyone who works in W4A is familiar with the Code of Ethics and has accepted it at the “relationship initiation” stage; if there is any doubt of interpretation, the Compliance Officer will be able to provide feedback and clarity.

All employees, managers, trainers, administrative, commercial, technical department have read and accepted the code of ethics.

2. Objectives of the code of ethics

The requirements underlying this Code are not solely legal and economic, but arise from a social and moral commitment that World4All makes.

World4All intends to be a model of TRANSPARENCY and CORRECTNESS and adopts this Code by committing to:

  1. Conduct its business in compliance with the law and see to it that all persons required to comply with this Code observe the laws and other regulations in force;
  2. Avoid conduct that, even indirectly, could undermine stakeholder trust, transparency or the tranquility of the work environment.

In its dealings with institutions, World4All is committed to:

  1. Operate within established rules, making the nature of one's purpose clear;
  2. Maintain strict confidentiality in the performance of their activities;
  3. Reconcile one's goals with the needs of the community.

With respect to stakeholders, World4All is committed to:

  1. Make current operations transparent so that informed decisions can be made;
  2. Draw up the budget and all mandatory documents clearly, transparently, truthfully and correctly;
  3. Behave in a fair manner by not allowing their directors to act in conflict of interest with World4All;
  4. Maintain confidentiality of information, in accordance with privacy.

With respect to employees operating in Worl4All and customers, World4All is committed to:

  1. Behave in a fair and transparent manner;
  2. Confidentially guard the information received, respecting privacy;
  3. Ensure that employees and collaborators behave and are treated with dignity and respect, in accordance with the internal procedures of the “World4All Model” and applicable laws;
  4. Pay attention to the needs of employees, trying to meet special needs wherever possible;
  5. Be willing to gain insights for improvement by listening to practitioners and ideas according to predetermined management processes.

3. Addressees of the code of ethics

Recipients of the Code are all individuals who have dealings with World4All, including partners, directors, employees, collaborators and appointed professionals.

Also addressees of the Code and subject to sanctions for violation of its provisions are all employees and collaborators, including occasional collaborators, of W4A, within the limits and in the manner set forth below.

Also subject to the Code are consultants, suppliers, partners in business initiatives, and anyone performing activities on behalf of or under the control of the same.

ZERO BARRIERS ODV, the structure headed by the Academy, the facilities delivering training courses and all “World4All Homologated” technicians and facilities traceable to them are obligated and committed to draft and make opposable to their employees and/or collaborators, this code of ethics, in the form of company regulations, under penalty of express ipso iure termination of the collaboration contract, by virtue of the centrality of the code of ethics for W4A.

Each employer has sole ownership of hierarchical and sanctioning power over his or her employees and collaborators.

4. Vision and Mission of World4All

  • Mission: Make accessibility a measurable value by offering tools and expertise to improve inclusion and support companies and institutions in adopting truly usable standards.

5. Relevant values for World4All

World4All's directors, managers, and executives, as leaders of their respective teams, have a responsibility to give substance to the values of the Code of Ethics by passionately and consistently promoting the understanding that acting with discipline is imperative.The core values that guide World4All's activities and strategic choices are:

    World4All employees and contractors are required to:
  1. Maintain behavior characterized by moral integrity, conforming to the highest ethical standards;
  2. Carry out their activities as fairly and transparently as possible;
  3. Stimulate the sharing of information, knowledge and experience, both internally and, where appropriate, externally;
  4. Anteposing the corporate good to self-interest;
  5. Express their opinions in a transparent, respectful and polite manner;
  6. Address situations directly, avoiding hearsay and unnecessary criticism;
  7. Share information with appropriate stakeholders in a complete, correct and timely manner.

  • TRUST
    World4All intends to establish effective business relationships only if deep mutual trust is established between the parties.

  • TEAM SPIRIT
    World4All employees and contractors are required to:
  1. Know how to listen and interpret even the nonverbal behaviors of colleagues, recognizing that there are appropriate ways to communicate;
  2. Be humble and curious, aware that you can always learn from others;
  3. Fostering teamwork, which is essential for success and relies on the unified contribution of each component;
  4. Cooperate loyally to achieve common goals, helping those in need;
  5. Create an atmosphere of mutual trust, respecting roles and valuing individual contribution;
  6. To be active players, contributing their unique talents to collective growth.

  • TRANSPARENCY AND COMPLETENESS OF INFORMATION
    All are required to:
  1. Ensure transparency and completeness in information while carrying out institutional activities and managing financial resources;
    Sharing information with management to facilitate data exchange and strategic and business synergies, with a focus on actions in the digital arena.

  • RESPONSIBILITY TO THE COMMUNITY
    In addition to developing a relationship of trust with stakeholders, World4All is committed to:
  1. Maintain an ongoing dialogue with stakeholders (including stakeholders), informing and involving them on issues of interest to them;
  2. Promote social, economic and employment development in compliance with international standards on fundamental rights, non-discrimination, child protection, prohibition of forced labor, protection of trade union rights, occupational health and safety, working hours and wages.

  • POLICY TOWARD STAFF
    The guiding principles are:
  1. Create a peaceful working environment in compliance with laws, principles and shared ethical values;
  2. Ensure confidentiality of information, including to employees and contractors;
  3. To see to it that its employees and collaborators behave and are treated with dignity and respect, within the framework of the provisions of the laws in our legal system;
  4. Counter any form of isolation, exploitation or harassment originating from discriminatory reasons or caused by personal or work-related reasons, by any employee or collaborator towards other employees or collaborators.
  5. Sexual harassment (of any type and extent) will be severely punished, including termination of employment or partnership.
  6. Combat “moonlighting,” forced, child or child labor, and any other illicit conduct against individual personality;
  7. Every employment and cooperation relationship is established by regular contract. All employees and collaborators are properly and fully informed of the rights, duties and obligations arising from the conclusion of the contract. The Group recognizes and promotes union rights in accordance with applicable laws;
  8. W4A also promotes culture among its employees and enhances their professionalism by supporting their training by providing employees with training tools, seeking to develop and grow their specific skills.
  9. W4A is also committed to compliance with occupational safety regulations and to promoting safety in all places that constitute the work environment itself, even outside the obligations expressly stipulated by law.

  • PROTECTION AND ENHANCEMENT OF DIVERSITY
    W4A opposes any kind of discrimination based on diversity of race, language, color, faith and religion, political opinion and affiliation, nationality, ethnicity, age, gender and sexual orientation, marital status, disability and physical appearance, and economic and social status.
    Likewise, the granting of any privilege for the reasons listed above is prohibited.

  • ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION AND RESPECT 
    W4A considers environmental protection a key factor in its business activities and is inspired by the principles of respecting and safeguarding the environment and the land, which are considered of the utmost importance both for their intrinsic value and in relation to their impact on the health of humans and other living species.
    To this end, the W4A Group strives to ensure that its business activities comply with the highest standards of environmental compatibility and safety and therefore selects product suppliers that are compliant with these principles.

  • RESEARCH AND INNOVATION
    W4A constantly carries out directly within its “IT DEVELOPMENT” area the implementations in the head of the World4All APP platform and through the ACADEMY indirectly, thanks to its partners, continuous research.

6. Relations with the Public Administration.

In the execution of negotiations and all other dealings with public officials, World4All adheres to the principles of fairness and transparency. World4All's relationships with public officials-including employees and public service concessionaires-are based on transparency, loyalty and fairness.

7. Judicial authorities and supervisory authorities

World4All acts in accordance with the law and supports, within the limits of its competence, the proper administration of justice. In all activities, it cooperates with the judicial authority, law enforcement agencies, and any public official in charge of inspections and audits.

The W4A Group imposes on its employees and collaborators the utmost helpfulness and cooperation towards anyone, internal operators dedicated to the control of the protocols underlying the Model, public official or Supervisory Authority, who carries out inspections and controls on their work.

8. Political parties and organizations

World4All cannot provide funding to political organizations of any kind.

This prohibition includes any payment, loan or act of liberality, made to any political party and/or political or labor organization or their members, as well as to independent candidates (whether they hold public office or are candidates for an election).

W4A directors, employees and contractors may not make political contributions with funds, property, services or other resources belonging to the Group itself.

Financing given by W4A is also considered to be financing made through an interposed third party, who then subsequently gives (on behalf of the Group or in its name) such a contribution to one of the entities listed above.

9. Relations with customers, suppliers and collaborators

World4All establishes relationships with customers, suppliers and collaborators based on criteria of trust, quality, competitiveness, professionalism and respect for fair competition.

In particular, the selection of suppliers and collaborators and the purchase of goods and services are made on the basis of objective parameters (quality, convenience, price, capacity and efficiency) in order to establish a relationship of trust and to avoid agreements with parties whose performance may be questioned with regard to respect for the environment, working conditions and human rights.

World4All also expects duly informed customers, suppliers and collaborators to behave in accordance with the principles of this Code of Ethics.

Discordant behavior may be considered a serious breach of the duties of fairness and good faith, grounds for breach of trust and just cause for termination of contractual relations.

10. Corporate assets and disclosure requirements

10.1 CORPORATE COMMUNICATIONS AND ACCOUNTING RECORDS

World4All believes that accounting transparency and record keeping in accordance with principles of truth, completeness, clarity, accuracy and regulatory compliance are fundamental to effective control.Supporting documentation necessary to ensure proper accounting records, reconstruction of the transaction, and identification of any responsibilities must be maintained for each transaction.The financial statements must give a true, clear, and complete representation of the financial position, results of operations, and cash flows of the individual World4All companies.

10.2 OTHER OBLIGATIONS IN RELATION TO ADMINISTRATION

World4All's corporate assets are managed according to principles of honesty and fairness.The directors shall pursue the statutory purposes and the management of the corporate assets shall be consistent with the principles of transparency and morality, on which World4All intends to base its activities.

10.3 CONFLICT OF INTEREST

World4All ensures that employees, directors, representatives and collaborators do not find themselves in situations of conflict of interest.All choices and actions must aim for maximum benefit to World4All and social development.

To this end, the following rules are established:

  1. Each person has the duty to communicate in advance, in written form, any hypothesis of conflict of interest (even potential) to the management of World4All, awaiting authorizing feedback.
  2. Anyone who becomes aware of a conflict of interest situation, even if alleged or potential, should immediately inform World4All management.
  3. Directors of directly managed companies and those of affiliated companies or firms may not engage in or cooperate in transactions in which they have a competing interest, even partial, with that of World4All.
  4. Employees and contractors of World4All may not engage in professional activities that conflict with the interests and purposes of World4All as set forth in the bylaws and this Code.
  5. Employees and contractors may not participate or collaborate in transactions or investments from which unanticipated personal gain or advantage may result, unless expressly authorized by World4All.
  6. It is everyone's duty to avoid and prevent conflicts of interest from arising.
  7. Any employee engaged in negotiations with private parties on behalf of World4All must inform management or the Supervisory Board (if any) in the event of a potential conflict.
  8. To ensure fairness and transparency, World4All ensures that no person obligated to this Code has a conflict of interest.

11. Insider information

All information obtained by employees and collaborators of W4A in connection with their employment and collaboration relationship is the property of the company.

W4A respects the principles of fairness, honesty, equal access to information and transparency, in full compliance with the law.

Insider information is specific information, not available to the public, concerning methods, techniques, strategies, financial instruments.

The company expects that anyone who may become aware of insider information, by virtue of his or her professional activities or cooperation with W4A, will not perform the following activities prior to the appropriate disclosure of the information to the market: 

  • Communicate such information to others outside the normal course of employment, profession, function or office;
  • Recommend or induce others, on the basis of them, to carry out any of the transactions indicated above.

The prohibitions are also extended to family members, cohabitants, collaborators and anyone who, due to his or her confidential relationship with the above-mentioned individuals, comes into possession of such information.

The above individuals may not spread false news or engage in simulated transactions.

12. External relations

To safeguard its communication and public relations policy, its image, and the accuracy of the information released, W4A requires that:  

  1. no employee and/or collaborator gives interviews or any type of statement or information regarding World4All to unqualified external parties or accredited journalists that has not been authorized by the communications manager;
  2. any employee and/or collaborator who is solicited by unqualified external parties or accredited journalists to make statements or information regarding W4A and from the release of which harm may result to him or her, refer the requesters to company management.
  3. no employee and/or collaborator, unless authorized, expends the name of the company or its President in any way towards third parties in order to procure advantages for himself or others.

13. Collections, payments and the like

W4A conducts its business in full compliance with the currency and anti-money laundering regulations in force in the countries in which it operates, as well as with the regulations issued by the competent authorities.

In particular, employees and collaborators undertake to check available information about business counterparts, suppliers, consultants etc. in advance to verify their respectability and the legitimacy of their activities.

To avoid giving or receiving undue payments, employees and contractors, in all negotiations in which they take part, must comply with the following principles regarding documentation and record keeping:  

  • all payments and other transfers made by or to the company must be accurately and fully recorded in the company's books and compulsory records;
  • all transactions of a fiscal nature and transactions involving registration of any nature shall be carried out through the use of the platform granted by W4A;
  • all payments must be made only to the recipients and for activities contractually formalized and/or deliberated by the company;
  • by all legal entities, no false, incomplete or misleading entries shall be made and no hidden funds shall be established;
  • No unauthorized use shall be made of the funds or resources of the Society;
  • No payment shall be made in cash or bearer means of payment;
  • employees must follow the procedures issued by W4A regarding cash management.

14. Occupational hygiene and safety

W4A is committed to spreading and consolidating a culture of safety by developing risk awareness, promoting responsible behavior by all employees and working to preserve, especially through preventive actions, the health and safety of staff.

The company's activities must be carried out in full compliance with current regulations on occupational hygiene and safety, and operational management must refer to high standards of environmental protection and energy efficiency, pursuing the improvement of occupational health and safety conditions.

15. Use of company equipment, devices and facilities

Each recipient is required to work diligently to protect the integrity and efficiency of company assets through responsible behavior in accordance with the operating procedures prepared to regulate their use.

To this end, each recipient is responsible for the safekeeping, preservation, and defense of W4A's assets and resources entrusted to him or her in the course of his or her work, and shall use them in his or her own manner consistent with the social interest, preventing any misuse.

With specific reference to IT tools, it is expressly forbidden to engage in conduct that could damage, alter, deteriorate or destroy the IT or telematic systems, programs and IT data of W4A or Third Parties, as well as unlawfully intercept or interrupt IT or telematic communications.

It is also prohibited to illegally break into computer systems protected by security measures as well as to procure or disseminate access codes to protected computer or telematic systems.

To this end, recipients are required, in particular, to access only those IT resources to which they are authorized, to guard credentials and passwords for access to the company network and the various applications and personal keys according to suitable criteria to prevent their easy identification and improper use, and to comply with internal policies regarding anti-intrusion and anti-virus devices.

16. Environment

World4All is committed to promoting a culture of environmental respect among its employees and collaborators, condemning any irresponsible behavior that may harm the environment.

To this end, each recipient is responsible for the safekeeping, preservation, and defense of W4A's assets and resources entrusted to him or her in the course of his or her work, and shall use them in his or her own manner consistent with the social interest, preventing any misuse.

With specific reference to IT tools, it is expressly forbidden to engage in conduct that could damage, alter, deteriorate or destroy the IT or telematic systems, programs and IT data of W4A or Third Parties, as well as unlawfully intercept or interrupt IT or telematic communications.

17. Implementation provisions

In order to pursue compliance with the principles set forth in this Code, World4All ensures:  

  • The internal dissemination and knowability of this Code;
  • The uniform interpretation and implementation of this Code;
  • The conduct of audits regarding reports of violations of this Code and the application of sanctions in the event of violations thereof in accordance with current regulations;
  • The prevention and suppression of any form of retaliation against those who contribute to the implementation of this Code;
  • The periodic updating of this Code, based on needs that arise from time to time, including in light of the above activities.

Subject to compliance with any protections provided for in applicable regulations or collective agreements and without prejudice to legal obligations, management is entitled to receive requests for clarification, complaints, or reports of potential or actual violations of this Code.

Any request for clarification, complaint or news will be kept strictly confidential in accordance with applicable legal regulations.

18. Monitoring the enforcement of the code of ethics and whistleblowing system

A Whistleblowing system is in place at the process level with the aim of properly managing, and timely verifying, any illegal and disrespectful behavior reported by employees or external parties in violation of the Code of Ethics, rules, regulations and internal procedures.

The w4A has adopted a web platform operated by specialized third parties, available in several languages, which ensures full compliance with international privacy regulations and allows the reporter to choose anonymity.

Other reporting channels such as, but not limited to, regular mail or e-mail are available on the company's website.

Anyone who carries out reprisals will be subject to disciplinary sanctions. This means that even if the facts are not proven, a whistleblower acting in good faith will have no cause for concern and will be protected if he or she is subjected to intimidation.

19. Penalty system against employees and collaborators

Failure to comply with and/or violation of the rules of conduct set forth in the Code of Ethics by World4All employees constitutes non-compliance with the obligations arising from the employment relationship and gives rise to the application of disciplinary sanctions.

Sanctions will be applied in compliance with the provisions of the law and collective bargaining and will be proportionate to the seriousness and nature of the facts. The ascertainment of the aforementioned infractions, the management of disciplinary proceedings and the imposition of sanctions remain the responsibility of the company functions appointed and delegated for this purpose.

We emphasize again that for everything in this transcribed code, that any prescription or indication is referred to professional users related with appropriate to W4A.

Companies and organizations and/or facilities that are part of or directly traceable to the W4A Group (such as Zero Barriers ODV, World4All Academy) are obligated and committed to draw up and make enforceable against their employees and/or collaborators this code of ethics, in the form of company regulations, under penalty of express ipso iure termination of the franchise contract, by virtue of the centrality of the code of ethics for W4A and the international development project.

Violation of the provisions of this Code that is carried out by collaborators, suppliers, consultants and business partners connected to W4A by a non-employee contractual relationship, may result, in the most serious cases, in the termination of the contractual relationship, without prejudice to W4A's right to apply to the competent judicial authority to claim compensation for any damages suffered.

Compliance with the provisions of this Code of Ethics should be considered an essential part of the contractual obligations of Employees.

Any violation of the provisions of the Code of Ethics constitutes a breach of the obligations of the employment contract and/or a disciplinary offence, in accordance with the procedures provided for in Article 7 of the Workers' Statute and the applicable collective bargaining agreement, with all legal consequences (including possible dismissal), including with regard to the preservation of the employment relationship, and may result in compensation for damages to the same.

Compliance with the principles of this Code of Ethics constitutes part of the contractual obligations assumed by collaborators, consultants and other parties in business relations with Group companies. Any violation of the provisions contained herein may constitute a breach of the contractual obligations assumed, with all legal consequences with regard to the termination of the contract or assignment conferred, and compensation for damages derived.

Obviously, each employer will be the exclusive owner of the hierarchical relationship and power of sanction against his or her employees and/or co-workers.
